The basic setup of the KW V3 Clubsport coilover kit, which is perfectly adapted to the Nordschleife, allows you to individually adjust your sports car to the desired street-tire setup due to the numerous setting options. The separately in rebound and compression stage adjustable dampers with their “TVR-A”- and “TVC-A”-technology allow an extensive damper setup. So it is easy to directly influence the steering behavior, the directional stability, the tire grip and handling characteristics for a safe controllability at the limit of driving dynamics. Depending on the vehicle type, the KW V3 Clubsport coilovers are supplied with aluminum unibal top mounts.
The vehicle-specific basic setup of the KW V4 Clubsport coilover suspension which was developed in numerous test drives and measurement runs on the Nordschleife and the KW 7-post drive dynamics test stand, can further be adapted via the click dial to the wheel loads, vehicle weight and altered body rigidity due to a bolted cage, welded safety cell or strut brace.
If you would like to adjust the KW V4 Clubsport coilover kit that is available with a technical component report more comfortable for your trip on the highway to the Nordschleife or a different race track, simply reduce the rebound forces via the rebound stage damping. For the KW V4 Clubsport used racing technology of the multiple overall winner of the ADAC Zurich 24h Race Nürburgring is still supported by aluminum unibal top mounts.
Using the Nordschleife as it's testing grounds and the 7-post rig, KW developed it's KW V5 Clubsport coilover kit. Wheel loads, vehicle weight and chassis reinforcements (increased body stiffness) can all be taken into consideration with adjustment capabilities of the KW V5 Clubsport. Similar to KW V5 Racing coilovers, low-speed and high-speed compression and rebound adjustment is done via KW's solid piston technology.In contrast to traditional shocks with valves in the inner tube, KW coilovers and KW dampers with Solid Piston use a valve arrangement that is separate from the damper inner tube and piston rod. The low- and high-speed valve units in the KW Variant 5 coilover suspension, which are built-in series with different valve spring types and main valves, offer the freedom to individually adjust the compression and rebound damping with 14 exact clicks (14 characteristic curves) each in the low- and highspeed range.Go to Shop
The KW V3 Racing is the entry-level product for professionals and semi-professional mass sport and customer motorsports. The suspension is available as monotube or twin tube damper with 40 mm Upside-down cartridge and separate compression and rebound. The V3 Racing is available as vehicle-specific development or as an custom-made product.
The KW V4 Racing is a Mono Tube damper with external reservoir. It's the perfect choice for frequent race track visits and those that are looking for the perfect damping at high loads. The V4 Racing has a coil spring valve technology and 3-way damper adjustment (2-way variant optional). The V4 Racing technology convinces with highest reliability and low maintenance effort.
The KW V5 racing damper with its Solid Piston technology enables a direct feedback of the vehicle. The innovative KW valve technology in combination with Belleville springs results in an individual and precise damper characteristic design between 1000N and 8000N. If required the modular dampers can be extended with an adjustable Blow-off characteristic. The external reservoir is available in a piggyback option or with a tubing connection.
The KW V6 racing damper is five-way adjustable. It provides 18 clicks in compression and rebound (lowspeed and highspeed) and a total of 12 clicks in the Blow-Off settings. The operating principle of our Solid Piston technology (displacement piston) enables direct feedback even at slight damper stimulations. The KW valve technology enables an individual characteristic curve design and covers a force range of 1000 to 12000 N. This versatility makes it suitable for various wheel-guiding axle designs, such as pushrod suspensions or double wishbones. Due to regulations, the number of adjusters is reduced to two.
